Before the sale we will provide a free project estimate with expert advice on the materials and design that best suit the use and aesthetics of the vessel. We will advise against any design flaws suggested by the customer that could result in a violation of the labor warranty.
After the sale, within one year from the date of invoice, we will cover any defects in workmanship provided there has been normal use and proper maintenance. Any damage resulting from the customer or a maintenance contractors’ negligible use of chemicals (such as bleach) to remove mildew, will void the warranty.
THE USE OF BLEACH OR POOL CLEANING CHEMICALS IS PROHIBITED AND WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.
Any damage resulting from wind and the neglect to properly secure the canvas in adverse wind conditions will void the warranty. All Marine Canvas will always provide instruction on how to care for, store, and maintain your canvas to avoid any of these warranty issues.
Most all the products we will recommend for your canvas project will come with a manufactures’ prorated warranty. If in the event there is a defective product in the installation of your project, All Marine Canvas will act for you as our valued customer as the mediator, and you will receive quality results. However, be aware that most of the fabric warranties do not include labor costs for the re-manufacture of the replacement canvas.
In addition, all the fabric warranties require the failed fabric be returned for testing. Hence the bleach factor!
The one product that carries NO warranty is Isinglass, clear vinyl curtains. The reason for this is that these products are easily marred, and or scratched. Extra care must be taken when installing, cleaning, storing and in the general handling of this product.
Mildew is not a defect. Mildew is caused by dirt and moisture. Keep your vessel clean, including the canvas products.
